Could the Nuggets be in line for some backcourt help?
Bleacher Report’s latest NBA mock draft has North Carolina guard Cole Anthony headed to Denver with the No. 22 overall pick.
“The Nuggets have made a habit of buying low on draft-night fallers,” Bleacher Report’s Jonathan Wasserman writes. “Teams have soured on Anthony, but he’s still worth gambling on in the 20s, particularly for a winning team that can afford to be patient. His shot-making should translate, even if concerns about his decision-making and finishing are valid.”
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound point guard averaged 18.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 22 games for the Tar Heels last season.
