CHECK OUT: Nuggets rookie R.J. Hampton's soul cost during the course of the NBA draft

How intense is draft day? Just ask Nuggets rookie R.J. Hampton.

The 19-year-old guard spent the day being filmed and having his heart rate monitored by Uninterrupted.

His resting heart rate stayed around the lower 70s in beats per minute most of the day. During a casual one-on-one game against his dad, Rod, it climbed up to 102 bpm.

When he got dressed for the actual draft, it climbed up to the 80s. After he put on a Nuggets cap when he was traded from Milwaukee, his heart rate was about 95 beats per minute. When friends and family surrounded him to celebrate, it shot up to 111 bpm.

“Those guys play together, they’re all young, that’s like the best fit I possibly could’ve been in,” Hampton says to the camera about the Nuggets.
