Russell Wilson to the Broncos? Denver possesses a suitable possibility, depending on to one oddsmaker.

Over the last half decade, it doesn’t feel like a Broncos offseason with tons of quarterback speculation.

Add Russell Wilson of the Seahawks to the list. After a report from NFL.com of “a couple of teams” inquiring about the availability of the Super Bowl XLVIII-winning slinger, he became the latest quarterback to have his future with his team questioned.

What about a possible landing spot in Denver? According to oddsmaker sportsbetting.com, the Broncos have +1,000 odds — meaning a $100 bet would win $1,000 — that they will be Wilson’s next team.

As of 11 a.m. Tuesday, Denver is tied for the fifth-best odds with the 49ers. Las Vegas (+500) is favored, followed by Dallas (600), Washington (+800) and Jacksonville (+800).

The Broncos also have strong odds for Carson Wentz (fifth-best at +1,200) and DeShaun Watson (third-best at +600).

Wilson, 32, put up some of his best numbers in 2020, setting career-highs in completion percentage (68.8%) and touchdown passes (40). He also threw for 4,212 yards and added 513 yards rushing to lead Seattle to a 12-4 record.

If he were to be traded to Denver, it would be a return to Colorado sports for Wilson. He was a infield prospect for the Rockies from 2010-11.
