Pick 6: Chances Teddy Bridgewater or even Aaron Rodgers sign up with the Broncos, Max Borghi gains the Heisman Prize

This is an interesting piece by Joe Nguyen from The Denver Post discussing some important news items this week. Joe Nguyen recently published the article and I thought it was worth syndicating on this website.

As the NFL quarterback carousel turns, Denver continues to be in the spotlight of oddsmakers as to who will be its starting quarterback in 2021.

Carolina quarterback Teddy Bridgewater’s availability comes into question after the Panthers acquired Sam Darnold from the Jets earlier this week. The Broncos are listed as the favorite team outside of Carolina at +325 — meaning a $100 bet would win $325 — to land the 28-year-old QB, according to sportsbook Bovada.

A more prominent name is Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who has +1,200 odds to come to the Mile High City. Denver is tied for the fifth-best chance with division rival Las Vegas. However, the oddsmaker gives him overwhelming odds (-2,000) to stay with the Packers.

In fact, he has a better shot to become the full-time host of “Jeopardy!” at +650 than to join the Broncos, according to Bovada’s odds.
